I'll be there.

Never met grandad from mothers side he died 1964 after serving in airforce.
My dads pop died in 1998 and he did 3 years in jap POW camp.. the hardest man I know and if i become half the man he was i'd be proud. Just sharing his name is enough honour.

I'm 25 and have no idea what it was like to go to war but i'm lucky so many diggers made the ultimate sacrifice for me and my future children to live.

At the arch in front of the Jetty...eerie but moving particularly with the waves crashing in behind ala Gallipoli.

Diggers walk down jetty rd to archway then after service up to the rsl by train line/library.
