As a very, very casual observer of Moto GP, what's the run-off required on corners etc?

Looks like it will be back to back with the Supercars, which from a logistics point of view makes good sense

I'd imagine the space required would be the distance from when a bike drops at 300km/h to when the guy in the helmet stops yelling "F*********************************************************************CK" or thereabouts.

Well, if we keep the concrete barriers, I'm going to assume the duration a rider yells to be very bloody short indeed. Be lucky to just get the "F..." out...

Just have it run north up Main North Road with a left at Dalkeith and swing it back on to the expressway, wouldn't even have to block traffic as the bikes could just mingle in and try to keep up.

MotoGP will be 2 weeks before Supercars, roads will be opened up in between.

More track will be inside Victoria Park, pits will be next to the current heritage stand on the outer edge, the rest of the track will follow the old F1 circuit, with 45 trees to go to make it happen.

This is seriously a big deal.

All happened because of Sam Shahin according to Mali, expect some govt funded upgrades for The Bend coming soon.
