People always use major centres for a base.I live at Royal Park (West Lakes Fields for property value  ) and always say I am 5 minuts from Footy Park.Hardly ever say 5 minutes from the Port...NO POWER JOKES!!
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I tell people I live 5km or less from Prospect Oval, they then talk about Barrie Robran.
When people ask me about Glenelg, I say "oh Glenelg mysteriously burnt to the ground many years ago..."

I give directions to people based on locations of pubs - if they don't know where the Hampstead Hotel is, they aren't the type of person I want in my home.

And if they drink there they've probably already been to your home...and all your s***t is gone.
