Termites Schmermites

Postby Wedgie » Fri Jan 04, 2008 5:26 pm

Even though termites have gone through my house twice (and yes, if I'd gone with Punky earlier that wouldn't have been the case) Mrs Wedgie awoke to a new pest yesterday (I was already at work). Our dog was eating our wall, I kid you not, to make things worse she was sick from eating the plasterboard and threw up in the house too.
I doubt anyone would have a dumber dog than ours.

LMAO, our dog has done some dumb things in it's time but not sure anything could quite match eating the walls  You really haven't had much luck with your house have you.

Get a new house.

I could regale you with many stories of a dumb dog, but ours has left the walls alone - you win.

lol, thanks for the thoughts guys, Im just glad she's not athletic enough to jump on the roof and start eating the tiles.

Still, give me a dog over those frigging cats that piss on my car and stain the paint of my newish car anyday. Not sure if I'd enjoy kicking the crap out of the cats or the cat owners more. Probably both.

Give me a cat over that effing mongrel across the road which is allowed to sit in their front yard without restraint or a closed gate, and regularly wanders across the road to crap in front of my house. I've picked up three seperate piles of dog eggs this weekend alone. I'd definitely enjoy kicking the living bejeesus out of dog and owner.

Sounds like the owners are the problem, not the dog.

About 20 years, the Dog isn't a destructive type either, she doesn't normally chew on any furniture, etc.

Calcium deficient?? Something smells interesting behind the plasterboard? Or just bored and frustrated...

Just damn stupid. She's a cocker spaneil cross boxer, not exactly the two most intelligent dogs but my fav two dogs so I just had to get her. Im just glad she's only a cocker height, hate to think of the damage she might do if she was a boxer size!
Don't think she's bored, especially in the last 5 weeks as someone's been home every day with her and she has plenty of toys and exercise.
I'll look into her foods though and make sure they have calcium in them if you think that may be an issue.
Some dogs occasionally eat grass to make themselves sick, she just thought she'd be different and eat a wall instead!
