Operation Mandrake Papunya styles

Spoke to a mate of mine during the week who is doing a lot of work in the communities up in the NT. He told me of how the Papunya community (go to Mr 66s post on p3 of the Clinton Grybus' thread and click on the red dust link and you see the Papunya oval on the main page) dealt with a bunch of idle young sniffers who went on a rampage and caused damage to the community store, something the SA Govt might want to consider when determining punishment for the so called "gang of 49".

The community was pretty upset when they realised what damage had been done and who had done it so they called a community meeting to sort out what they wanted to do (apparently the sniffing and resultant vandalism has been getting worse in Papunya lately).

Whilst the community were discussing it the Sniffers rocked up, so the men grabbed them chucked them all in the back of a troup carrier and took them out bush, they then got out the nulla nullas, beat the crap out of them and then made them walk home in 44 deg heat....

Will it solve the problem, I don't know but some of those kids learnt the elders don't muck around when it comes to tribal law
