Car hits pedestrian

A MAN was in a serious but stable condition last night after he was struck by a car at Woodville Gardens.

The accident occurred just after 10pm on Hanson Rd, near the intersection of Alexander Grove.

Eight police cars were called to the scene of the crash and the driver and his passengers remained in the car while police examined the scene.

They were later taken from the scene in a police vehicle.

The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
