I signed up the other day when a mate told me he had taken about 3 interstate trips for free from it.

You have to shop a fair bit by memory, ever since we had a petrol card and moved near a foodland which doesn't give Flybusy we've lost more points than we gained, we did get 1 trip to Melb out of it in the late 90s though. Mrs Wedgie is still pissed that I took it to go see a Cats game when she earnt all the points shopping!

Simple, if you have a girl, give her the card. So she can use it whenever. It works for me. Have got a few things out of it.

Fly Buys corral you into spending money where the Coles Myer empire wants you to spend it. Then, once they've got your money, you can't fly where you want when you want.

It's a loyalty scheme - that loyalty may or may not work both ways.

Virgin blue now have a frequent flyer rewards program, don't know if it's any good, but it's free to join and you can redeem your points on any domestic Virgin Blue flight
