Mix 102.3 & Balfours Fundraiser for Prostate Cancer

It is good to see the more recent focus on research and information on Prostate Cancer. Balfours and Mix 102.3 are getting together to do a fundraiser for this purpose, here is a cut and paste from their website.

Nearly 3,000 men died from Prostate Cancer in 2006, so here at Mix102.3 we’ve set ourselves a challenge to sell 30,000 Finger Buns in honour of them and to help raise much needed funds for the prevention and treatment of Prostate Cancer in South Australia.

With the ProstateSA Blue Ball happening on August 9, at Mix102.3 we’ve joined forces with Balfours and decided to help kick start the fundraising! We are proud and excited to announce our…  Mix102.3 Finger Bun Blitz

The funds raised from the Finger Bun Blitz will be presented to ProstateSA at their Blue Ball – Saturday August 9. The Blue Ball will be full of glamour and excitement and is about having fun and raising money for research and awareness of Prostate Cancer.

My old man just had his Prostate removed...he's one of the lucky ones.
