And it says Manhattan Dry Cleaners.... I read it to do a 90 min turn around

be prepared to pay shizen loads for same day stuff. I get mine done at my local, and save about 10-15 bucks for three items providing I can wait the one-two days dependant on drop off and pick up times.

If you do use them Smac, do you mind PM'ing me and letting me know. From time to time I have meetings that I have to attend looking as good as possible, but have to get a tie dry cleaned.

Interesting - it sounds like some people use dry cleaning regularly. The last time we had anything dry cleaned was about 4 years ago.
We both usually wear washable clothing, and avoid the chemicals which bother my wife's asthma.

I assume you are kidding, but I'll treat it as serious just in case you are not.

They use organic chemicals instead of water, and as they are volatile they evaporate fast and the clothes come out of the process already dry. However, some places re-use the chemicals for too long and everything comes back looking dull. Between my wife's asthma, and my own concern that must organic solvents can either damage the liver or help induce cancer, we try to avoid buying anything that can't be washed, and spend the money on a good washer and dryer.

I went to the dry cleaner in Hutt St about 20 minutes ago, will pick my bag of fruit up at 3pm. Only costing me $17, very happy with that.

Will be planning a little better in future and giving Bayman a call when I need something dry cleaned

I wear suits and ties each day and they require dry cleaning. I am not too fussy on where i get them dry cleaned, so any hints on the types of dry cleaners I should use/avoid would be great.
