I have driven the 7l version of the Chrysler 300c,and although it has top end power,it gets off the line like a pig and corners like the Ghan.

Looks great,but,typical American build style,big cubes,no finesse.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Yes I wouldn't mind an R8, but my wife wants me to buy a house in the UK when we get there, since we expect to stay some time.
It's a difficult choice for me, but not for her...
I am watching UK second-hand prices on the TT though - much cheaper than in Oz.

TT's are one lovely machine. No good for carting Wiltshire Horn around though Psyber...

Yes my wife wants me to compromise and look at the S3 hatchback instead - similar performance and a bit more load and passenger room.
Still not the answer for sheep though!

An R8 would be outstanding. I think they retail around GBP 80k, and there's something like a 12-18 month waiting list. So unless you are willing to pay GBP 120k of the speculators who've already taken delivery in hope of making a profit, it's a waiting game.

The TT is very nice though, especially the new shape, which I believe you can pick up 2nd hand for around GBP 25k. Could be wrong there though.

The worst car I ever owned = Commodore. Too many mechanical issues, break ins etc...The doors ended up unlockable after what the pricks did to it. I preferred my datsun Stanza.

Agreed, the R8 is a looker, but I think my car looks better...and handles better :D

No more Commodores for me, ever!
