Having a shit one

Postby Rik E Boy » Tue Jul 04, 2006 3:58 pm

Ever get one of those days where you would be much better off tucked under a warm doona rather than face the horrors of a real shit one? Yep, it's been one of those days.

unspeakably early

Staggered out to get my work shirt that I stayed up last night washing. Lo and behold a sloppy bird shit is on the bloody thing. I blame Magpies! I had to wear my Z-shirt today, it might have passed muster back in 1992 but looking decidedly dodgy in more recent times...hmm a familiar theme appearing here.

8.00am

Computer crashed three times before I could get the bloody thing running. I work in IT so just who do you blame!?

8.15

Poured hot coffee all over my hands. Had a meeting with the boss and my swollen red hands gave everybody plenty of mileage!!

9.00

A hottie walks past our window and I yell out to the boys 'Check THIS bitch out'..by the time everyone gets a gander she is long gone and this huge wench is bending over taking something out of her car.

9.05-9.35

Getting office supplies thrown at me during this period but that's ok as I am out of pens. None of em work!

10.00

Training session interupted by carpet layers. Complete waste of friggin time. I feel like laying down on the job!

Lunch time

Get down the kaf and the ice coffee is gone and so is everything that is not vegetarian. I had to eat Vegetarian ARRRRRRRRGGGGGH FEED THE MAN MEAT FFS!!

1.35

Told off for playing Red Hot Chilli Peppers in the office. Hate that!!

2.30

My favourite user rings up with the same problem that she had at least four times before. I go to retrieve the 'x (insert name) template' for that person and I accidently delete it FARG. Try to shadow her PC but her assets aren't listed. FARG AGAIN. I have to patiently explain things to this geniear5e for 30 minutes GIVE ME STRENGTH.

3.00

Coffee time. Surely nothing can go wrong here. I will respect the boiling water and with steady hands pour myself a revitilising tonic. OH SHIT NO COFFEE I HAVE TO DRINK TEA AH DANG DIDDELY CRAP CAN'T YOU MORONS DO ANYTHING RIGHT ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!

That's it. Like Geelong in the second half of last week's game against the Blackbirds I've had enough and I wanna go home. If there IS such a thing as Groundhog Day please don't let it be today!!! ](*,)

regards,
