give them a 1900 number to call that provides tarot card readings
give them the number to evict Jamie on Big Brother
give them the number for "who wants to be a minnionair"
and best of all

give them the number for Centrelink. They'll be on hold for three days!

When I worked in Telecommunications, if we had a complete "A-hole" customer that wanted to make a complaint, somethimes we'd stick them through to a 1900 "idiot line". Apparantly this line just hurled abuse at you for $4.95 per minute...dont know if it still exists

Mr MK and I have a silent number but they still get through because they use a random number picking thing. I just interrupt them and ask where they got this number from.

During the uming and ahing, I politely inform them that my number is silent so I need to know where they got the number from so I can take the matter further because we pay to have an unlisted number. They then apologise and hang up.
