Hey Dog_ger Franks is looking at it tomorrow morning.... now My electric arial on my other vehicle wont go down when I turn the car off... i can hear the motor trying to put it both up and down but nothing happens, it just stays rigid.. any ideas with this one?
I have found with the electric ariels that if the motor can be heard working then it is likely that you have bent it on a tree or something and it will not easily slide up and down. Try gently shaping it to as straight as you can and use some Vaseline to lubricate.

I'd support that - I frequently slightly bend mine on trees and it recovers if you straighten it carefully. I've tended to use a silicon spray rather than Vaseline.Alaska wrote:I have found with the electric ariels that if the motor can be heard working then it is likely that you have bent it on a tree or something and it will not easily slide up and down.
