What is it?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I have very recently sold and bought a car on carsales.com.

Placing the ad was easy, cost $40 for a standard ad and you can upgrade it at any stage to a premium ad. Very simple to set up.

Sold the car within a week, first caller we got came and looked at it and bought it.

You can also easily see what other similar cars are for sale too, gives you a better idea for your asking price.

I wouldn't buy Johno's car.... has roughly 2.3 million kays on the clock purely from little trips here and there with the missus.... plus a few kays added via wrong turns, misread maps etc........
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Online for me, have sold a few in the last few years that way. If you are in no rush, it allows you to tweak the price gradually until you start getting the occasional phone call then you just sit and wait for the right sucker/buyer to come along.
