A few years back (probably 3 or 4), I'd heard a whisper they (dont know who) were looking to change the name of Royal Park to West Lakes West ... Don't know if it was just BS but it's never changed and I haven't heard any more on the subject.

Brooklyn Park ( West Torrens then West when merger took place) v Royal Park (Port)-Not sure,I think the Regal Estate,or as it is known by locals,West Lakes Fields will be the team I would go into battle for.

People always use major centres for a base.I live at Royal Park (West Lakes Fields for property value :wink: ) and always say I am 5 minuts from Footy Park.Hardly ever say 5 minutes from the Port...NO POWER JOKES!!
