I think you've missed one thing. In this day of diminished personal responsibility, you should be finding a lawyer and get started about being compensated for your injuries!

A multimillion dollar lawsuit brought against the premises for injuries, mental anguish and punitive measures won't heal your mouth, but you probably won't care about the burn so much.

I believe we have our own Dr on this site with many firm opinions on things.
Would he be interested in starting his own thread to answer such questions????

hey Johno, sure not funny now but I am sure we can all look back on this and have a chuckle

reminds of quite a few years ago in the army and at our happy hours at the boozer on a fri arvo they used to have a chook raffle, they bought cooked chooks and had them sitting in the pie warmer for a few hours, then the winner would put the chook on the table, unwrap then it was total carnage for a couple of minutes as about a dozen pair of hands attempted to get a tasty piece of chook, only one problem, they were that ******* hot it wasnt funny, blisters on the fingers etc, but that wasnt stopping us, we were drinking beer and we were hungry

No, sorry guys, no can do..
I'm not a GP, nor currently registered in SA, so I could find myself in trouble with the local medical board, as well as with my insurers for giving anything but the most oblique and generalised medical advice outside my field...
