We're only scheduled to arrive in Melb @ 4:30pm Fri so only going to buy our footy tickets at the gate just in case of a delay.

If I was flying to be somewhere at a certain time I would definitely go with Virgin or Qantas.

However, the CIB had booked me to come back on Jetstar and the officer who drove me to the airport got me there 5 minutes late because of delays at the court.
Even when he flashed his badge and offered to vouch for me there was no flex with Jetstar.
The CIB then had to drive me back to Surfers, put me up in a Motel overnight, and then send another officer in the early morning to drive me from Surfers to Brisbane for a morning flight as I had late morning appointments in Adelaide. It also cost them another day of my fees for appearing as I was most of a day later getting back.
They weren't pleased with Jetstar..

I thought you'd have your own plane or helicopter mate.

I don't get it, their attitude is against, what, just disabled ethnics?

I had a few flying lessons many years ago, but jibbed at the maintenance costs.Lightning McQueen wrote:I thought you'd have your own plane or helicopter mate.Psyber wrote:On my recent trip to Surfers to give evidence at a Committal Hearing I flew up on Virgin and found them pleasant.

Tiger Airways will launch flights from Adelaide to Sydney and will also announce the sponsorship of the Glenelg Tigers Football Club.
Members of the Glenelg Tigers Football Club, including CEO Stephen Barratt, players, management, mascot and cheer squad, will meet Tiger Airways Australia Managing Director, Shelley Roberts, at the Tiger Airways boarding lounge at Adelaide Airport to formally announce the association between the two Tiger teams ahead of the inaugural flight from Adelaide to Sydney.
Ms Roberts says Tiger Airways is thrilled to be the only domestic airline in Australia to have a crew base in Adelaide and that the airline is excited to be able to support the local Tigers.
“We’re the fastest growing airline in Australia today. It’s great that we can give back to the communities that support us,” Ms Roberts said.
“Adelaide is our second home, so the local Tiger team is an obvious choice for us to sponsor as we both have our sights on future growth in South Australia.”
Glenelg Tigers Football Club CEO Steven Barratt thanked Tiger Airways for its support.
“The Glenelg Football Club is delighted to enter into a relationship with Tiger Airways. This relationship allows our club to travel around Australia knowing that we will be well looked after whilst enabling both businesses to grow and prosper in the Adelaide market,” Mr Barratt added.
