Reasonably sure it was never a suburb. Lived in the area all my life and I don't remember it being any other name.

If anything Modbury Heights wouldn't have been Clovercrest, Modbury North would.

My parents built in Modbury Heights in 1979 and it was Modbury Heights then.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Actually found some more information out about this ..
Whilst paying some parking fines at TTGC, I purchased two books regarding the history of the area.

I'll have to go through them to find out, as I've forgotten now.. but it pointed to the fact that there was a "sub division" called Clovercrest that English migrants were sold land in.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Ok, so it's sorta like the sub division "Regent Gardens" which was in the suburb of Oakden.

Yep.

Sometimes the difference isn't as obvious with sub-divisions and suburbs.

Spring Hill was sold "as a suburb" though is in Golden Grove and isn't a suburb in itself.
