anyone weight training here? for sport or just basic conditioning or to plain look good nekid???

if so, id like to know what shit you are doing etc...

not into it yet, but will be pretty soon, Doctor said i have to do it, to help with back problems.

All the Port and Central fans are into lifting. Though it'd be shops or shirts, not weights...

nah dont play footy anymore, doctor said i can basically try and build up muscles to bend my back into shape, it was either that or farily big surgery, so im pretty glad i dont have to have surgery.

surgery would suck ass totally, esp for backs...good luck on the recovery

Up until about last year I was lifting my own body weight...at 115kg...there's NO way in Christ I'm able to lift that sort of weight now...
Is 2009 the year of the Tiger?

I generally only lift schooner and pint glasses (initially full), and I've never had a back problem :lol:

Doctor says its a genetic thing and theres nothing i could do about, not much fun at all though, the way my back is now im actually not able to stand up prefectly straight.
also been told no matter how much i go to a chiropractor it wont get any better, its well past chiropractic work now. :(

Don't worry, Doctors have come up with an invention for curing bad backs. It's called "lightening the wallett". The doctors fleece you steadily over the years, to the point that you no longer need a wallett. This helps your back, by relieving you of the stress a full wallett puts on your back! :wink:

tell me about it mate...but over here, a pub lunch is non existent altho at any chian restaurant they deep fry everythinga nd servings are ******* huge...we are talking leicester sized meals!!!! but i miss a counter meal so badly!!!! i cant wait to get into a schniter with chips at the alma or havey or ramma!!! :D:D
