Last lot a few months ago from the Goodwood Cellars. They don't stock it anymore but the Ed does.

May pay to check first though. ph 8373 2753.

On the Unicorn website, it shows Sip n Save ! So maybe they stock it now....

westozfalcon wrote:With Guinness there's the standard brew you get on tap in the pub with the creamy head that's actually made in Australia under licence. It's only about 4.2% alcohol and is not as strong in flavour as say a Coopers or Southwark stout.

Then there is the actual Guniness Stout that you can buy in longnecks from the bottle shop. It has a completely different taste to standard Guinness and is imported from Ireland. It's about 6.3% alcohol volume.

Correction.

The Guinness Stout sold in longnecks is brewed in Australia under licence. It has a beige coloured label.

The normal Guinness you can buy in tall 440ml cans and stubbies in the bottle shop is brewed in Ireland. But I think the stuff you get on tap in the pub is brewed in OZ under licence.

will have a look out for it

all the talk of stout made me go down to Dan Murphys to get some more Guinness, and whilst there i got a heineken keg which will come in handy for the paving that we are going to do over the next few weekends - pre-season is starting :(

Not quite a stout, but a top dark and strong beer is

Bootleg "Raging Bull", that comes in at 7.1% from Bootleg Brewery in Margaret River WA
