I'm back

Postby Mickyj » Sun Nov 22, 2009 9:00 am

Ok people
I went in for my knee op the time got moved back so I went under the knife about 11.30 am
And I think from the pain I've been feeling they did more this time .The knee felt like it did after the first op when they found an ulcer not the second time.
For those that I told the story to about checking the right knee instead of the left one .They did the left knee yippeee but had trouble with my pulse .Even after me saying I am alive. ;)
Anyway on discharge I saw the physio (dont see the doc until the 11th) and nicely told me they found floating tissue under the cap (I think it was the cap)and they tidied up the meniscus and shave the bone .
So Friday night very early Sat am the pain was shocking so I started taking the panadine forte .Pains getting better started doing the exercises last night .Except for me feeling like its hot all the time and a very itchy bandage I'm getting better.
Not sure when I'll go fishing again but you never know ;) could be next week.
Cheers

But my son and a friend who reads this site both wish for me to do laps at thebbie this wednesday .
I think the cardiac unit and a fleet of ambulances would be needed if I did ;)

Fingers crossed I will be at training Wednesday.

Glad it all seems to have gone well and hope you have a speedy recovery so you can give those fish whatfor when you're ready. Just don't go doing anything silly and setting it all back again.
