All for daylight saving.

I had a prick of a job the other day. Im a student teacher in a primary school, and taught a lesson on daylight savings. Spent 20 minutes explaining why we dont actually "save" any daylight, but the clocks change so sunrise/sunset has changed. Then had to explain the energy conservation reason for daylight savings, and the students shot down any reason I gave. The reasons for daylight savings were good in the 1920 USA when they were brought in first, but now have been exceeded.

I agree also with the changing to EST. Would make it a little harder for WA, but fk'em, they didn't even want to be a part of Australia anyway, thought federation was a conspiricy against them.
