How about that team of rugby players from some South American country (Uruguay?) whose plane crashed in the Andes, and those who survived did so only by EATING THE DEAD?

No, really: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uruguayan_ ... _and_water

There was a movie released about this many years ago. Didnt they start with eating the pilots because they didnt know them?

Glad you mentioned this Wedgie, Ayrton Senna's death was like a body blow for racing enthusiasts. Maybe it was just us here in Adelaide because the GP was in full swing.

There's a good film about this Pseudo. It's actually quite old now but the actual crash scene is chilling because you can kind of feel what they went through in that sequence. Google will probably give you the name of it if you're interested.

Americas Cup is a huge omission.

Not that I've ever watched it buy surely this "episode" could have been split in to two? Over two shows?

Comparing POLAR OPPOSITES on the spectrum of success just seems stupid to me.

Channel 9 have no credability with sport these days...one of the best triumphs this year was Geoff Ogilvy's US Open victory - only for Ch 9 to decide before the tournament that they wouldnt show it live on FTA, giving it to FOX, preferring to show the Today show. Then an aussie is in contention so they do a hash job crossing all the time from teh Today show to the golf!...what a mess and serves you right Edward

Couldn't agree more Dutch. More ammunition for the Foxtel team.
