mighty_tiger_79 wrote:i mean HUNGRY JACKS came out and said that they werent going 'HEALTHY' as MACCAS have with their menu, yet when they did the comparisons between burgers between the two some of MACCAS burgers which are meant to be healthier were WORSE

we all know when we go to those places that it is bad and everybody except MACCAS and SUBWAY wants to admit it

Hungry Jacks/KFC make junk and dont hide the fact
Mcdonalds wont admit it
Subway advertisers healthy food and are perpetuating a gigantic bluff.

after having one of maccas or hj burgers you would need to walk/run for about 30 minutes or more to get it off. how many are prepared to do this each time they eat one :D

A Whopper has approx. 42 grams of fat a Big Mac aprox 23 grams of fat out of interest.

Interesting that Burger King and HJ's are different interstate. I was always of the understanding the reason it was called Hungry Jacks in Aus was because some bloke bought the rights to the Burger King name here before Burger King opened in Australia. Burger King refused to pay the ridiculous price he asked them to let them use the name so they opened as Hungrey Jacks. I might be way off the mark but is this what happened? Why are there now Burger Kings in the eastern states?

A million clams for McDonalds is pocket change. They still make out like bandits because sales go through the roof from all the free publicity. It really is a genius scheme, much loved by the mafia (give a little, get a lot). If they are so generous why not ALL proceeds from Big Macs for a day?

According to Wesley Willis:

McDonalds hamburgers are the worst
They are worse than Burger King
A Big Mac has 26 grams of fat
A Quarter Pounder has 28 grams of fat

The burgers are better at Hungry Jacks.
