I too associate pearl earrings, augmented breasts and hosting a TV show with boganism.

Not only has Mum got me a PS4 for Xmas, some douchebag at EB Games just sucked her into buying Battlefield 4 for me. He reckoned if she didnt buy it now, there wouldnt be many games left for Xmas.

He's an effhead, but I still rate that she got it for me :)

Keith Conlon off the radio as of 9am tomorrow.
The biggest interrupting know-all I've ever heard.
Faaaark off.

Being encouraged by my bosses to blow a deadline.

Actually, it was more liked they begged me to take extra time.

Usually, they're busting my balls to get stuff in early.

Wasn't exactly sure how to respond.

Um, okay. I'll take another week. I guess.

You sure?

I didn't think they didn't that anymore. I remember Saturday posties growing up in the lead up to Christmas.

I guess with more people buying online though....

Spending a lazy Sunday doing bugger all apart from reading "When Giants Walked the Earth: A Biography of Led Zeppelin". Thanks, Footy Chick!

Parents who actually let their kids be kids.

Saw a parent today in one of our stores who laughed @ their child after they were running around and they tripped and smacked their head on a door frame.

It wasn't serious but the kid wasn't talking to his Mum because she laughed and her reply was a simple "if you were not acting like a fool then it wouldn't happen".

Much better than probably the majority of parents who now have now created enough noise that hugging is not allowed during lunch time and also parents who make schools ban cartwheels during breaks.

No wonder kids now do extreme out of the ordinary behaviour when every time they try to push the boundaries there is something there to block them even contemplating such a thing.

After cracking it and not practicing the guitar in months, I picked it up again last week.

I found a really helpful site run by Nate Savage that really takes things slow, and in 2 hours I learnt more than I did in 2 months when I tried before.

Now I know 4 chords and how to put them together into something that sounds like a song. Now Im practicing how to strum better and the transition between chords. Slow work, but very rewarding, even at this early stage.
