I haven't noticed it being more cooler so far this season than previous years

I have noticed that the late arvo's/early evenings feel cooler than they have been though

I recall the first few rounds of local footy being quite warm and requiring sunscreen.

I do recall reading that the earth experienced this same effect a few 100 years ago. I cant recall anymore detail than that but it was basically the same cause.

funny whenever we get a heat wave or cold snap the experts come out and say its due to global warming when its hot and its not global warming when its cold.

funny thou that we are seeing this report on a mini ice age when we are in winter and the northern hemisphere is in summer. I thought we would be reading about global warming due to the heat seen as the yanks think they run the world and whatever goes on in their back yard , in their eyes is what is happening all around the world

Global warming expresses itself in frequency of extremes. Extreme surface temp heat, extreme surface temp cold - depending on the season.

yep. basically the weather is a chaotic system, and global warming makes the system more energetic, which means bigger extremes
