The boss has put me onto Sri Lanka, as a new sales region. So I have spent a fair chunk of yesterday and most of today researching who our customers are in Sri Lanka, what they buy from us, how much they spend, and importantly trying to work out, where the hell in Sri Lanka they are located!
So at this stage the boss is saying he wants me on the ground over there once a month for probably the next 12 months while we bed it down..... and not drop any of the other balls I am currently juggling.
Nothing like a challenge.

Yep just heard that before the footy started! I will be asking for danger money before I leave! Mrs C said straight away that there will be the normal reaction and tightening of security over there. I’m guessing it will be a month before I go yet.

My boss is in India this week, as part of this restructure has our Indian office, in Mumbai reporting through to us. The word back so far, is the office is a ******* mad house..... So reading between the lines here, I think my next trip will be to Mumbai to help straighten these blokes out. Further research on the customers in the region suggest I need to get to Bangladesh, before Sri Lanka, as the $$$ spend out of Bangers is double that of the Lankans. Friday May 17th. I should be done with work by around 4.00pm. I will be in the Plympton/Mile End area. But heading up to the Hills that evening.
Wedgies pub is on Port Road, although he mentioned another pub if he was not working.

Elephant & Castle - West Terrace
Highway Inn - Anzac Hwy
Let me know what works for you blokes. I guess Boon would prefer somewhere off Port road, which is OK too, top end of Port Road better for me.
