Check out the deaths in countries who went for herd immunity that's why

So we will never let any tourists from OS into the country again?

Dutchy you're smarter than that.

he's talking form 12-9 months ago of countries that went down that route.

OS travel will happen once again but that vaccine passport will be an initial control to minimise the risk.

They are doing well apart from the 10 unfortunate deaths and should have herd immunity by Xmas.

New exposure sites added for Aberfoyle Park on Sat 17th July.

Note that this is before the Greek on Halifax and winery super-spreaders. Therefore it must be one of the first 5 cases from the cluster as all others were linked to the other 2 locations. It would be interesting to know how this was missed - obviously didn't QR code check in. They remembered about exercising early on Monday morning but forgot what they did on the weekend.

People are now ordered into quarantine for 3 days.

Chances are that nothing will come of it if it follows all of the other shopping centre, etc sites, but if it does, you've got one or more people in the community (albeit during lockdown) for 12 days.

SA Health have now removed these exposure sites after they realized they had made an error - must have been that one of the two new cases went there the day before going to the winery.

The "just a little 'flu" quip I've seen or heard a few times sort wryly amuses me.

Back in 1957, before we had any 'flu vaccines, that would minimise the potency of the infection, I got the then current "Asian 'Flu". I missed 2 weeks of my second term of school - home in bed hallucinating intermittently, and with my temperature hovering around 42C most of that time. There was concern at the time that I would die from it.

Vaccines have helped us tame the 'flu, and will do the same for Covid once we get enough of the anti-vaxxers converted. I do expect there will be an annual booster for new variants of Covid from now just like we have now for the "flu.

Do you think it is appropriate for boosters of the covid vax to be compulsory to allow travel, attendance at the footy, etc?
Currently the flu vax isn't required to be allowed to go about your life, but there seems to be a lot of chat that covid vax will be required in order to participate in life.

I'm very happy to allow people to get vaccinated, but i'm not sure its appropriate to make it a requirement, yet anyway.

We have a guy at work who is totally against the vaccine as he doesn't want anything in his body that has the potential to harm him, yet he smokes a packet of durries per day lol.
