If I had all of the money I'd ever spent on beer ... I'd spend it all on beer.

Went on a Dan Murphys run with mates this arvo to stock up for a party tomorrow night and another next weekend.

Two 6 packs of Coopers Celebration Ale
Two 6 packs of XXXX Gold Summer
And One 6 pack each of Fat Yak Pale Ale, Sol Beer and James Boags Draught

Mmmmmm beer, I like a bit of variation. Dan Murphys is a legendary place.

They're good DK.

Hopefully you run them off at training Tuesday!

Celebration Ale is my current favourite and Fat Yak is nice too, had 1 of each tonight and they went down very nicely. I'll run them off at training haha.

I love XXXX Summer, a mate got me into it a few years back. It was the main beer I drank on my cruise.

Everyone has different tastes fellas, glad we all agree on Celebration Ale though. :)

Into the ales myself. Mountain Goat Stream Ale, White Rabbit Pale & James Squires Golden as the fall back beer. But my fave beer at the moment is Stone & Woods Pacific Ale. Is it readily available in SA??

I received a cocktail book last Xmas and have been having a little fun with that. Have finally perfected the Mojito for Mrs Lumpkin, whilst I don't mind an old fashioned Long Island Iced Tea. Rediscovered Pimms on a recent trip to Hong Kong (they served via the bucket at Brunch!)

A Rockford Shiraz always hits the spot. Just checked the supply - I've still got 1 ready to go (and a bottle of Penfolds 389, but nfi where it came from!). Tassy Pinot Noir & Sav Blanc go alright too - my fave is 9th Island.

And as someone else said, don't worry about complimenting meat with red; fish/chicken with white - just go with what works for you.

About $13 a 4/pack at Fassina Liquor stores. Well worth exploring the whole Vale Ale range.

Rate this!

A 4 pack disappears before the blink of an eye!

I believe from memory that the prancingpony brewery was part of a scoopon/groupon etc deal which was $99 per person.
coach leaves at 9-50am and you return at 6pm from the Adelaide train station and you do a tour of a few places to enjoy a bevvy
