I'll update it once we get a new record; last month was reduced a bit due to the down time experienced.

One thing though, the post count at the bottom of the Board Index does not match the numbers displayed on the screen for each forum (the total of them). I've added up these totals to get the figures for the past two weeks (This has happened since the changeover).

For example, the count at the bottom of the screen totals 176,360. But the figures combined for all forums total 176,900. This includes the hidden boards. Take out the hidden boards, and it would be less than 176,360, so I'm not sure where the difference comes from.

interesting that spelly. i also notice if you post twice or more in a row (as you just did) you appear to only be credited with one post. ive posted 20 jokes in the best jokes thread in a row and still have the same post count on the 1st and last joke

i hope no-one tells MAL about that......he would be devastated, he will want compensation on those lost posts!!!!!!!!

So did I. But perhaps there was a few posts missed in the changeover period. That's my guess.

Dunno mate, but the search facility now seems to work over the entire length of the board now so it could have re synchronized itself.

The popularity of this site is incredible to say the least.

Going on the ratio that there have been 2.22 times the amount of posts in the same time to last year (Jan 2006 to Aug 2006) for the year, we could get around to about 293,000 posts by the end of the year if we took that ratio and applied to the period of 11th of August 2006 to the 29th of December 2006.

A new record this week, the first time there has been 700 posts on average per day.

Christ, I just scared myself, had a look at the Roost stats and its exceeded 1 million hits for each of the 4 months prior before August (on target for another mill this month).
Thought to myself, geezus, then what is safooty getting now?
Checked out the stats since we moved servers and we're on target for 5 million hits for this month!
