2.5/10

Used to love the place and swore by the Kwai Tow. Would go there once a month to the one in the servo on North East rd near my old house in Greenacres. That one closed down a few years ago.

Since then I have frequented the one on Main North Rd Prospect as we lived in Collinswood for a year and it was average at best and lacking flavour. Now we go to the one at worlds coolest shopping centre Ingle Farm K-Mart 8) and i have to agree doesn't have the same flavour hit. We tend to go when we have a 2 for 1 but wouldn't go without a voucher.

The Noodle Box down Jetty Rd at the Bat sh&it's all over it.

I've been to Wokinabox on just a few occasions, but every single bloody time, no matter what I've ordered, it comes with the following:

One mushroom (sometimes whole, sometimes quartered)
Two pieces of broccoli
Two pieces of carrot
7375659 chunks of f***ing capsicum

I don't mind Wokinabox, I usually get the Cashew Chicken. Only bad thing is sometimes I get about 52370 chunks of Onion in it FFS.

Capsicum is for salad. Sounds like a lot of Pizzas these days, they look like capsicum tributes.

Yep Jetty Rd about 2/3's of the way down on the right as you're heading to the beach. Taste is good, service is good, scenery was great and they honoured an expired coupon.

Second time I went I was alone and had a 2 for 1 and left box 2 in the car for a couple of hours when I went back to work. The drive home was amazing. The Mrs wasn't home that night and I ran in and smashed that box and licked it clean (The NoodleBox I stress)

Had lunch at the German Arms with wifey and junior just over a week ago. Sat in the bistro which was all good. We both ordered snitzels with mine being a beef hawaiian, chips only, jug of diane. $6.00 Sparkling Ale pint was indeed a good start, so i got another one. Out came the snitty with salad and chips underneath. Luckily the foliage was in a separate receptacle and easily pushed aside, but chips under a snitty pisses me off.

Food was good and ambience enjoyable. Deduct 1 point for plate presentation.

7/10

Pag wrote:Had my first Nordburger last night, when the Bacon & Cheese Double with some lettuce and caramelised onion, didn't rate it near Chuck Wagon, Bread and Bone or Foundry. Still haven't got 127 Days yet. Think the burger was $10.90, and the service was real quick, but it tasted a lot more like a Maccas double quarter pounder than any of the others IMO.

Would still go back if on The Parade, but not up in the top echelon of the burger joint list.

Broke my Nord duck today.....rank it above Maccas but below the Foundry...

Cheeseburger, fries and Milkshake 6/10 stupid me forgot to ask for no pickles so had to pick them out!

will slowly expand the sampling seeing as I work nearby.....

For any pizza lovers you have to try Lulu's on Regency Road, we drive from Mawson Lakes to get our pizza's from there.
Deal #4: Party Pizza, Garlic Bread & 1.25 litre soft drink for 26.90.
We get the pizza in quarters: Lamb Yiros with garlic sauce, Pepperoni, BBQ meat lovers & hawaiian.

The way that they place the toppings on not just scatter them and their base is perfect.

9.5 every time.

Yeah, we pick one each and the Yiros quarter is compulsory. I don't mind travel or paying that bit extra for quality.

Anyone tried Hispanic Mechanic, I think its run by the same people as Lucky Lupitas and United Latino Cocina so based on that it should be awesome. I just need to find the time to make a trip out east.

Used to use LuLu's when I lived in Greenacres and never had any complaints but changed to Al Pacinos further up Regency rd. as I felt they did a better Pizza.
