What about the 70 year old last week pushed into the road. and then pepper sprayed.

Naturally the MSM stayed clear of this story.

Really doesn't matter
Spraying him in the face whilst on the ground was still excessive
There is vision going around with a policeman goading the protesters to "come on - have a go" so he can give them a "good ***ing hiding"

One can imagine the uproar if all this happened in the BLM protest

Correct, I posted a couple of days ago that protesting gets treated differently depending on if the government found your cause worthy or not. No surprise a few of the government's happy clappers told me I was incorrect.

There are huge differences to how the victorian government is reacting to these protests (and how the media is reporting them) vs the BLM movements not too long ago. Both occurred during the pandemic.

The fact that Dan has closed down the air space around melbourne til Monday so the media can't show aerial shots of how big the crowds are is a big overstepping of his powers IMO.

According to the victorian government there were only 400 people who protested yesterday....

I think the cops would have had more issues than worrying about who had a drone in the air for a few minutes

I think the vast majority of people are opposed to all police brutality (where not required to effect an arrest).

The 'but this would draw far more condemnation if it was BLM' notion only exists, thankfully, in your head.

Yep saw that footage, glad someone got it on film, will be nicely settle out of court this one once the civil suit is served.

Absolute out of control and Victoria has truely lost the plot.

Also the plot was lost about 8months ago.

Not from normal people but I’m quite happy to post the hypocrisy from the Victorian Govt media unit if you want.
Hell, I could go back through this forum to the BLM protests

You nailed it Trader

In this confronting video of the other days protest Comrade Dan deployed the counter terror squad and the riot police Melbourne starting to look a bit like Hong Kong.

So the question has to be asked why were the same resources not used last year with the BLM protest ?

It looks like its ok to protest depending on the political cause.

Not sure when or where this happened copper uses an illegal choke hold on man and becomes unconsious shame it does not show what led up to this interaction.

It appears policing in the Eastern states is completely different to SA.
