Well they're breaking the law, but ok.

Riding a bike isn't against the law, some of them might be but pretty rough to tar every cyclist with the same brush, you anti-cyclite.

I'm more worried about **** wits on their phone driving, or pissed up clowns behind the wheel, meth'd up ferals.......

Im specifically talking about the ones that ride outside the bike lane.

Read.

Most bike lanes are for 90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes at night, outside of that it looks like those rules are out the window.

I'm pretty sure Military Road is 7:30-9 and 4:30-6 Mon-Fri.

That's a hurdy gurdie ride in a ute, brilliant, best fun ever with a big bull bar but you forgot the polyester pants brigade.
Churchill Cenre on a Friday afternoon is worth having a coffee out the front as well.

A good scary drive is the top of Magill Rd to Ashton, sharp corners with tiring bike riders swerving all over the shop & a truck barreling along the other way. Some places it's a choice of a head on, going over the rail or collecting the bike. Oh, & if you try to take care on the corners & slow down a bit Harry the Hills dwelling hobby farmer is sitting up your arse with lights flashing.

Norton Summit Rd?

If you go up Old Norton Summit Rd you should be fine as all the cyclists use the new one.

No shit, but because we have an easy identifcation system in rego plate, it makes it very easy to catch those that don't do the right thing

So please tell me the point of your post

Ok, we put rego plates on bikes, who the **** is going to police it?

Imagine the outcry if our constabulary were seen writing out an expiation notice for a bloke on his bike outside the bike lane and not "catching real criminals", please, that's bureaucracy at it's finest.

Who would police it?

If I saw a cyclist getting a ticket it would make my day.

SA Government spending priorities :

Health? No.
Energy? No.
Employment? No.
Education? No.
Ageing? No.
Roads? No.
Getting pesky cyclists to obey the rules? **** yes!
