Its for when people think they have a certain right to dictate peoples behaivours and actions because they find them offensive.

But at the end of the day, its irrelevant if something "offends" you, it means nothings, no one cares. I just think its very true that the phrase "im offended by that" has no need to be respected or influence ones behavoiur. It might not be that cut and dry but i saw it Ricky Gervais post it and was all over it.
