I have no qualms about where I grew up. I do miss the Yalumba Drive shops though... The good old Triple 7 Mini Mart, and the deli that used to let you have a 600mL Coke if you brought in 6 bottle caps.

Right now, I'd like to meet Duncs for a beer so we can have a chat about the $1000 bucks he now owes me.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

From what I have noticed on the Port Cricket Cricket thread I don't think he is happy.

Another Grub

Posts intermittently these days
Seems to be a more than fascinating person, judging by his posts
Reading The Grubs posts over the years has been a scream

One senses a meeting with Grub and some of his unstablemates Scoob, Overloaded and West Coast Panther would be a fun day

He is quite the comic thespian. I have met him but it was brief, our eyes met, there was a moment and then he fled to sing his club song.

Didn't know that he did romance movies, I thought he only played parts where he was stoned or caught in unfortunate vehicle situations.

Maybe it was only me who had the moment  . It seemed like you cared.

We shook hands mate after you flogged us in round 1 at Smithfield Oval, I was coaching.

I know the feeling about meeting up with someone you've chatted to on the phone only to find they weren't what you were expecting. I've also had the reverse, caught up with a friend from high school who I hadn't seen for 20 years only to find she is absolutely stunning now and has been a major contributor in me getting my shit together and being happy for the first time in about 4 years.
