They could waive payments for 8 weeks if they're happy never to collect them.

I don't think they can extend the term of the loan contract automatically though. Customers would have to opt in.

Its deferring repayments (and interest) not waiving repayments, loans will be extended for an extra 6 months so these payments dont need to be caught up in 7 months time.

I have a small business loan with NAB through my family trust.
If I want to extend, what do I need to do?
Do I just click a button on the website or do I need to call?
I don't need to extend, but if it's described as above I see it as a free hit, albeit with 6 more months of dividends being put into the trust account
Cheers

Its not a free hit as interest is still charged over the 6 months.

PM me and if you are happy to deal with me I can arrange or I can point you in the right direction.

WA border being closed completely on Sunday at midnight.
Visitors and residents will be turned around at the border unless they have an exemption.
Exemptions to the border closure include freight and logistics, emergency services, workers with specialist skills and healthcare workers.

That will probably come at some stage, but WA has the worst rate of testing in the country per head of population. SA per head of population has Australia’s best testing rate and Australia is the first country in the World to test 1% of their population. I was shocked to see that NZ only tests 200 people more per day than SA with more than 2.5x the population

A mate who is a fairly high ranking detective in fraud has been called back 4 days into his 3 week holiday period ( where he was meant to be in Bali ) to go knock on doors and check on those who are meant to be in isolation.

He's happy.

I heard SAPOL have also brought back those who have left the force in the last 18 months (left/retired).. fears around the coming weeks incidents escalating as people are isolated more and longer.

He used to be in the drug task force, so knocking on doors will be a little different to just kicking them in as he once did.

There's no way your old body will handle a 5 week bender.

One thing about all this that is a positive is the way people are treating each other over the past week, far more considerate, polite and with more empathy . That’s the true Australian way.
