Will get a BBQ going, crank out several steak, bacon and egg sangas, but not before downing a couple of beers for breakfast. Bit of a kick of the footy, a hit of cricket maybe and then set up for the drinking game. Pick two players, one from each team, every time they score a goal, down a Jagerbomb. Messy day. I'll be staggering into the reception on Saturday night.

Champagne (beer for the blokes) breakfast from 9am. Kick of the footy then massive webber roast for lunch. Then the footy. Got about 20 people coming round. Will be a big day particularly as my team is in it. Can't wait even though i have no realistic expectation that my side can win :(

Similar.

Lagers and get one player, then draw kick/handball and a Cowboy to follow each of the drawn possesion. All in all a good responsible way to consume alcohol.....

If I find out where Quichey lives I'll be at his house...............bacon and egg sangas washed down with beer and the occasional Jagerbomb sounds GREAT!! :D
Nah we do something similiar with a BBQ and beers at home with a dozen or so people........and you gotta love drinking games on GF day.

Yeah, I enjoyed getting Tony Shaw in the 1990 GF until the morning after ... With the number of possies the Cats rack up these days, it could be unprecedented levels of pain for a few revellers on Sunday morning

yeah considering geelong and hawthorn's top 6 or so players would each get 20+ possessions makes for a big day of drinking games. I hope I don't get Buddy as we do a full stubbie for each goal!!

Last time I played this game, we re-allocated people who had not been drinking enough after 1 quarter. At half time we did the same. IIRC, someone was allocated every time the scores were put on the screen for the second half because they had not had one drink in the first half (back in the days before the scores were always on the screen). He had to be carried out at the end of the day! Another time, someone was given every McDonalds ad (back when McDonalds were the major sponsor).

Good times!

Jagermeister is not a bad drop. It reminds me a bit of a cough medicine called "Ycough" I was fond of as a kid - similar alcohol levels and a herbal base.
The family could never work out why a child preferred a non-sweet adult cough medicine!
