I've had that a few times.
My order of preference for Scotch - Oban, Dalwhinnie, Lagavulin, Macallan, Laphroig.
Rather different styles, so I usually have at least 3 of those 5 in the house - which 3 varies.

On Ladette to Lady they were sculling the stuff out the bottle!

Given that you can hardly appreciate the flavour of good whisky, and the extra peatiness of Laphroig, drinking it in that manner, scullers should be restricted to American rubbish by law... ;)

I think you meant make a pussy out of a pig, but still:

Cant drink bourbons - too sweet. How about Southern Comfort?? I have to reach for the insulin when I smell the stuff

Good whisky - unfortunately, I do ruin it with ice sometimes, coz Mrs Jimmy gets upset when I leave a glass in the freezer and it cracks coz I forget about it.

Nothing better than a very chilled glass with good cognac or whisky, although the puritans would frown on the chilled part

There is the option to move to Brandy variants. I have a bottle of Metaxa open at present.

if I had to choose I would go Black douglas as its a scotch not a bourbon!
But all premix cans with scotch I cant drink
like you have all said the cola is disgusting and im not big on dry!
If i hit the scotch I have it with lemonade
tastes heaps nice, would just be a sweeter version of dry I would say!
get on board the thunder train!!!

I dont mix with anything but soda or dry these days
Coke or 'cola' makes me feel like crap

VB had cougar on tap for a while, not sure if its still around but i loved that shit. My mate is a manager of a bar, and on new years after everyone left we locked ourselves in and went nuts on the cougar on tap until it ran out. Closest ive come to replicating it is Cougar and Pepsi-max with lots of ice. Refreshing...AAAAHhhh. Stuck up **** dont try this at home.
