Never ever feel sorry for a Cornes- one look at their smug faces will wipe away any sympathy (although I will exclude the ill health of Kane's daughter from this, but Kane seems to be more humble than the rest of them.)

It's actually his son! He was born with a heart defect.

my sentiments are the same though (sympathetic to his plight).

He came up with a wonderful quote last Monday.

When discussing the allegation that some payments may have been made in a paticular manner to avoid scrutiny by the Board, His Knowingeverythingship said that because the Chairman knew about it, it was all OK.

Well done GC. The Board appointments, or dare I say; judicial appoinment, should be rolling in soon............

About his column yesterday:

=D> =D> =D>

The current state of AFL play is a boom for Amateur and Country leagues where real football is still played.

The reason I dont go to AFL games is the appalling spectacle that it has become. Almost makes me change my allegiance to Geelong who are the only ones playing the game as it should be played.

Want to fix Port Power's problems? Play football like Port Adelaide used to - then your supporters will go to a game

$hit - second pump up in a row

Article about his return to Viet Nam was a fantastic read

He's like your children though: "You make me so proud and then you go and f#$% it up by not thinking and doing something stupid"

Come off the air now GC and I will keep a good opinion of you

MY enduring memory of the SAJC is the embarrassment, as a young, anonymous footballer, of being denied entry to the Members' stand. The image of stultifying snobbishness has never left me.

1. Try paying for membership like the rest of us have to do GC
2. Stupid snobbery because they pay their way and you think you are king of the world and shouldn't have to. You have your own snobbery traits that are, unfortunately, thrust upon us through the media
3. By saying that you were, at the time, a young, anonymous footballer, suggests that you think that you would have been admitted once you gained your "personality" status.

Supercilious twat

I heard some comments from him on air last week regarding admission of non-members to the members area at AAMI stadium in bad weather. They seemed to echo the stultifying snobbishness that the SAJC left him with.

But why would you pay for membership, and its supposed benefits, if they then let others who haven't paid in with you???

I don't disagree with that opinion, it is just the opposite to Cornes enduring memory of the SAJC not allowing him into their members reserve.

If I'd been a member I'd have wanted him kept out too... ;)
