Ive had some heated but mostly entertaining battles with some of these guys
Im pleased about something
I generally get on well with all these guys nowadays


And whatta list that is, they all have made an impact on SAFOOTY
Heres a discription of them

ADELAIDE HAWK
The master of dry sarcasm and wit, and a very knowledgeable individual
Boy did we have some brawls in the cricket room
I aplogised for my misconduct and we are on very good posting terms now
Love reading his posts in the history room


DREBIN
Boy oh boy we had some stouches going back a few years ago
I made a habit of teasing NA posters, and came off 2nd best too often
Fortunately we have made common ground and the friction is now well and truly in the past
One thing with this guy, very entertaining in his posts
When i see the name in the sanfl room I zero in to see whats posted


G
Bark is bigger than his bite
Must go to sleep thinking of ways to discredit me in the Gambling room
One of the very best snipers on SAFOOTY at getting me
Keep up the good work
G and I catch up from time to time socially
He knows I dont take his snipes too seriously
One thing about the G is heez on the ball with any sporting gossip
G is rarely wrong when he posts, except when he hazzago at Mal



1980 TASSIE MEDALLIST
Had some great duels about cricket/footy agendas
Very hard man to beat as is precise, factual, and too knowledgeable at times for me
Did give me the shits coz he was too good too often
Broke the ice when we hugged each other at Alberton one day[another reason not to dissolve PA]
Since then have socialised at Adelaide Oval and the Bay
A great adversary

PUNK ROOSTER
Weve been mates for a number of years b4 SAFOOTY
We used to buddy up at the dogs in the 90s
This great man has follwed in my footsteps and plays cricket/footy at Fitzroy, where I was a legend !
However for a while we had some long protracted battles on issues on the footy rooms
A very difficult man to beat on mass debates, honours about even
PR is a very witty poster, with great one liner posts, he is the Trev Marmalade of SAFOOTY


ROD ROOSTER
Have had several arguments in the cricket room[ on whats on agendas]
geez weve had some arguments and neither of us would back down
Im sure we have frustrated each other
But they were fair battles, never ever got personal, just good old fashioned stuff
Always enjoy reading his posts in the cricket room


SMAC
Had one long argument over a certain footy issue
We still have not agreed on that famous incident at the ponderosa
Still a snigger or two over that
However Ive learnt what a genuinely nice man he is
Has assisted me on a matter or two and Im greatly appreciative of that
Enjoy reading his posts at all times


SYDNEY DOG
If ever I wanted to leap thru the PC and grab someone by the throat he was the one
Did we have some stoushes on safooty
The AFL room was a battlefield with us
Having said all that we did put that behind us and got on extra well [especially when he told me he is a boxer!]
Was a favourite of mine on SAFOOTY and got on very well
He is missing in action, I miss his contributions on SAFOOTY
Where is he ?

OTHERS
There are others, mainly one off incidences that didnt make the above list

One thing Ive learnt is to always pay some respect to anyones posts
After all most of the time its just a difference of opinion

I've always been a bit disappointed Phil never really ripped into me as I tend to antagonise most more than the usual poster, his only gripe with me was that I didn't ban Roylion for having a different opinion to him, very disappointed.
