The LG DVD Recorder was the worst thing I ever bought. Cost $800 and had about 3k of repairs under warranty before giving up the ghost yet again when I just gave up on it.
Only current thing I can think of is my house in general. Termites, leaks, poor wiring, rising damp, not built to standards, hot water, stove, oven, showers, chimney started playing up, etc etc.
If I hadnt made so much of a profit on it (it tripled its value after I bought it just over a decade ago) Id swear renting was the way to go, especially for someone like me who is the most unhandiest handyman in the world.

Hey I thought I had the mortgage on that title.
I'm the guy who topped my Woodwork class in grade 7 by getting 51% for the practicals through the year, and 99% for the theory paper at the end.
[The Woodwork teacher was totally nonplussed.]

The remote for my automatic roller door. Useless.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

My 1986 Ford Econovan.

Each morning, I drive to TTP to get the bus. In winter, it struggles to start and often I have to leave it home and walk to the bus stop, adding 30 minutes to my trip :(
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

My remote is OK but the bloody door kept sticking.
In the end I ignored the injunction not to lubricate it and applied silicon lubricant spray liberally to the guide channels.
So far, so good!

Crikey, if I had a machine that was 23 years old and still worked at all I'd be putting it in the Things I Rate topic!

Doorbell.

Runs out of battery and Mr MK replaces it, works for about two weeks then goes on the blink again.

I don't care about it anymore so it's now there for show. Anyone important rings before they come around as we can't hear the door being knocked.

At least I don't have to tell the bible bashers to p1ss off anymore.
