It was packed - it was hot - but the atmosphere was great

My daughter and I lined up for 2 hours to get in (for free) then missed Tom Williams
Once in we started off at the front of the stage -
But ended up being totally packed so left the whole arena half way through Jessica Malbouy (sp)

I missed it this year. I've actually only been once before, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago; but I came away from that with an incredibly sore neck and a migraine, which kind of put me off wanting to go again in the future.

is it worth heading to a carpark with a city view for the skyshow?

That's a pretty good idea. Any car parks in particular come to mind?

marion golf course i think has a good view from what ive heard

We watched it from Old Belair Road, just next to Scotch College up at Mitcham. Great spot, no trees in the way, not too far away from the action.

loved the skyshow, was great. but not on clipsal night. needs to be australia day like the norm.

ended up at o'halloran hill

couldnt work out why traffic was so banked up on the way out - a car had rolled over and a couple of other cars had damage

not the best way to end a good night

Yes we came across that too MT79 - cars were already on the tow trucks but we thought one looked as though it had rolled.
Very sad/bad way for those involved to end a good night indeed
