Wedgie - you're not that old skinny bloke, with the Woolshed shirt on, that sits outside the Woolshed from 8am to 7am every day/night are you?
dedja: Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Nah mate, he's their handyman, if I was their handyman the place would have fallen apart by now.

But for your end if town I used to drink at the Office only because it was the closest pub but a he'll of a lot of wankers drank there and you'd sometimes have to wait a long time for a beer as they were making coffee for some dipshit who was there for a meal, miss that place like a hole in the head. I'd go along with others recommendation of the Historian although it's a little cramped and just getting a beer can be a problem, having said that Ill be having lunch there on Thursday.

It's the biggest problem with most pubs around there, full of wankers and hard to get a quick beer. Down Hindley St I can get a beer straight away 99% of the time and there's plenty of room to move around.

To tell the truth I don't like many if the pubs down that end of town, too many wankers in suits. I've been working on Currie St for quite a while now and much prefer this end of town. Better people, better food, better shops and most importantly better pubs.

Right so i either need to start wearing a suit (some would say i already fit the wanker criteria!) or go for a walk. ill go have a beer at the historian while i think about it!

Drink specials - Shotz has very cheap drinks but all the charm of a dead whore (as Stephen King might put it). Avoid it like the plague.

The Austral is a nice pub. :)
