if you find it hard to stay working with those who accused you speak to your hr department for a transfer to another location.

i am a supervisor in retail and if you accused someone of stealing without having concrete evidence that person can take you for a row of shithouses. dunno what line of work MP is in but it doesnt sound right to me, you cant get away with that crap

Not really. Bowed down and paid the money I was accused of taking, and looking for a new job now...

Of the hundreds of jobs I've looked at, the only one that sticks out is Radio Rentals... If I went there that would mean that I've worked at all three of the electrical shops over here...

When I told them that I'd paid the money, the general consensus was that I only paid the money because I took it in the first place, not because I was trying to get past it all, and be a bit bigger.

I was already deemed guilty, at least this way there's no more crap until I find a new job.

Well the last thing I want to think is that any of the others at work would have done it, and if I refused, then they're calling the cops, and putting the spotlight on the others...

Felt half like I was doing the right thing...

If you had nothing to hide then then calling the cops would have been the best thing.

You've been bullied my friend, it's what shitehouse employers do and get away with unfortunately, unless you take them on.

We're shut over the next couple of weekends for reno's, and they haven't asked me to work yet...

If they do, there'll be a certain amount of money required for my time... ;)

I think that was a big mistake MP,
Everybody there will see that as a confession, and so may any other employer you approach if they check back with your previous firm.

Every person who knows of this situation, now considers you a thief, rightly or wrongly. It is unfortunate you were put in that position MP and even more unfortunate that you bowed down to the pressure.

Good luck with what comes next mate.

No offense MP but only a guilty person would pay the money.

If you really didn't then that is the strangest thing I have ever heard.
