So am I West Lakes born but I used to think the Outer Harbor line could get a bit wild back in the day. Little did I know!
When I catch the Gawler train once those doors open before scanning my metrocard I say a little prayer "Not today Lord, it's not my time yet"

Lived in Bowden and West Croydon, and went to Brompton 1y, then Croydon 1y, and Woodville High.

REB, don't forget to take in the sights like Davoren Park or Smithfield which can be helpfully accessed via the Gawler train from the city

The weekday 11am trains on the Gawler line were the rowdiest trains you could be on!

Seriously though Public Transport here is a piece of piss. Cheap, reliable service. Paid $6.60 for a bus into town and went out to Largs on thr train. Do that in Brissy and it would cost you 20 bucks. It costs 4.80 to get to Ipswich which is about South Terrace to the Oval away in distance.
