OMG

Looks like Mal is easily sucked in by the hysteria of the Australian media. And South Park have offended "bigger fish" in their time. Every Catholic, Jew, Muslim, Hindu and Scientologist. Every race, every country, and the show continues.

Go out and get yourself a life Mal, and don't worry about what some of us watch on TV.

FFS I feel that if anyone wants to take it to heart what Matt and Trey are doing shouldn't watch the episode. I am a fan of South Park and they have offended nearly everyone one and thing in this world. Look at the movie Orgasmo picking on Mormons what an outrage but they did it. In this political correct world it is good to see some people still out there who don't give a flying rats arsehole on political correctness. Family guy is offensive as and people don't care it is entertainment but if the media outlets ie comedy Central and SBS feel that they shouldn't show it they wouldn't. Yes Steve death was tragic but I don't think that Bindi or terri will be sitting up at 9.00 and watching south park i fell that they have better things to do and worry about. But if the Irwins are offended it will be in courts very soon it is a more wait and see.

I agree in the sense that noone kicks up a fuss when they offend the rest of the world, just when it hits close to home. If you don't like it don't watch it.

i think its way too early for any humour about any deceased person & in this case think about the girl i wouldn't like little bayman seeing something like that even when he got older but it is a free world so we get people putting ideas into their shows that'll offend so if you dont like it dont watch it & if you think or do enjoy that show watch it

free world = freedom of choice
personally i wouldn't watch it
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

No

Why dont you download that episode and mail it to the Irwins and write
'' To Bindi and family, heres a tape of your Dad, just something to remember him by,
from Uncle Peter."

Now have a good think about it Pete.
Watch your programme if you like it, but dont ever tell people like me there is nothing
ethically wrong with that episode.

here's a guide to anyone, offended by anything...
If you don't like it, don't watch it/listen to it/buy it/pay any attention to it.
More importantly, someone else out there might be enjoying it, why not let them enjoy it in peace/without judgement?

I was sick of justifying throughout my youth, my right to listen to gore bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Obituary etc, & anti-christian bands such as Deicide (blatantly) & Morbid Angel (more "do what thalt will") etc. They made music I liked, yet people found it necessary to try & sensor them, because they had a minority viewpoint.
Mind you, listening to a lot of early "metal bands" who paraded the "satanic" theme now, one wonders whether they weren't Ned Flanders in disguise!

Well, I just watched the episode Mal, and get this, wait for it, the joke is it is too soon to make jokes about Steve Irwin's demise. The joke barely made it into the bad taste catergory. After watching it, I can't believe it was newsworthy. Word of advice Mal, take everything you read in the media with a grain of salt. The sooner you do, the sooner you will have one less thing to worry about.

Exceptionally good advice Pete.
Ive talked to the press twice and what I said and what was printed was
blown out of proportion.
And Pete, the Flintstones and The Jetsons are on pay TV
Flintstones 6-30/7-00
The Jetsons 7-00/7-30

Just a friendly warning, occasionally Fred hits Barney
