Ban rice and cotton farms!!! Get a pipe running from the Kimberlys to the Murray River to allow the river to keep flowing, reducing the salt levels. Saw on 60mins a few weeks ago a report on how much water is in the Kimberlys being virtually unused. Also rainwater tanks within a few months of buying a home with rebates/ tax benefits.
Also squash idea of buildingf a new state swim centre at Marion, it is not needed when a good enuff outdoor pool is closeby!!
