Nice.... is he playing above his age group level?

It's the first season he's ever played in his own age group, he's in under 14's, if he was born a few weeks later he'd still be in 14's next season.

Probably all in vain anyway as him and I might go play mens cricket next year to try and drag my old club back up the grades as they'll slip to Grade 3 next season, he's not that interested in cricket and I'm not going to keep throwing money at it, he prefers footy and he's probably better at it.

Sounds like he has ability, so at 14 playing against men in lower grades wont hurt him. I did the same with my lad at that age. He was a little kid back then, with a decent technique but not strong enough to get them "off the square". That's not a problem now, my bloke had a day out in a T/20 yesterday - 162 off 59 balls, that's a reasonable knock!

Just wished I could have been there to see it.

To make matters worse, he won man of the match, a carton of beers..... he doesn't drink, so he just donates them back to the club..... what about your poor old man!

You are not the first to make that observation!

He is a smart kid, he's seen what booze has done to me!

That's a fair effort, well done Carona Lad.

My lad hits a long ball and takes on the fielders even when they're on the boundary, he's claimed a few windscreens this season and landed a few on roof's, his timing is crazy, everything seems effortless.

We had a chick walk in the pub in her underwear the other night.
I didn't have to wonder what my face looked like too long as my work colleague had the same look on his face.
Something like....
Nothing should suprise me in the north western suburbs but things still do!

Screw you and your elephant memory

*It wasn't AT the footy, it was at Alberton lining up for the loos after a GF win, so alcohol came into play

I've got over 10 years of archives in pst. files in our server, it's been useful to go back to old correspondence on major projects many times.
