Has the Clipsal circuit been packed up yet? Specifically, could one drive up Fullarton Road past the Brittania roundabout with no hassles?

A few weeks ago, I realised my water meter was slightly more in the morning then when I checked it the previous night and as no water was being used overnight, I assumed there was a leaking tap somewhere  . None of the internal taps were leaking so I went to change the outside tap washers that supply the underground sprinklers. After turning off the water at the meter's tap, there was water coming out of the garden tap when I removed the handle to swap over the washer so the tap at the meter was faulty. I called SA Water who changed over the faulty meter tap fairly promptly (no complaints there :D ).

When I got the latest water bill, my average daily water use was just over 500 litres  compared to just over 140 litres corresponding period last year. My front lawn is not much better than what it was last year so my question is

where did all that extra (wasted) water go? All the outside taps have the connections for the inground sprinklers on the taps all the time so where did the water go?

That's hilarious. When I lived at Grange my water bill was always higher than my neighbours yet his garden and lawn was way more lush than mine. When he sold up and new people moved in their lawn and garden came back to the field real quick! My water bill dropped by heaps, about 50% in the useage column I reckon.

Reminder letters are still sent.

You can also register for reminder emails and/or SMS.

The misses forgot as they sent the letter to our old place despite updating on the back of the licence at Motor reg....neck Minnut she ran a red light which resulted in a, wait for it...$1,500 fine as she got done for no rego, no insurance and the red light fine. Now we are financially *edited by moderators* and needless to say a little aggrieved by it all and the fact we don't have the darken sticker on our car that worked so well for so long.
I also got pulled over last year after the sticker system had been removed and was very lucky to get one of Adelaides decent cops who let me register online as I hadn't committed an actual offence 8)
So to answer your question, I don't know

Which reveals the whole point of the change.
Not only does the SA government they save on printing and posting the stickers, but the inevitable oversights create a new revenue stream. ;)
