A former boss of mine claimed that I am the master of looking busy when I'm probably doing nothing but he could never take the risk.

Our U16.5 game yesterday had a Broken Collarbone (surgery tonight), Broken Nose (blood everywhere) and 2 serious concussions, was stupidly thinking the day before we have had a good run with injuries this year  .

We had a good come from behind win with no bench in last half but Id give it all up to see the kids healthy, I know is all part of the game, but its hard seeing kids get hurt like this.

Our U16’s has been the opposite with injuries; two collarbones, broken hand, fractured wrist and two serious concussions to name a few

We are due some luck

Yeah you never quite now what sort of run you are going to have.

Last year we had 47 Under 15's across 2 teams, so 44 positions, we thought no drama just by shear probabilities there will be some season ending injuries come finals and during the year this was the case, never had all boys available, but come both grand finals we had all 47 available and had to drop 3 kids which was bloody hard.

Was it a pure accident? Hard to believe that you could be that unlucky to walk along a road like that and get hit by a stray car, shattering :(

Apparently so. When you've got a machine that can go from 0-100 in 3 seconds anything can happen I suppose.

It was a lamborghini, believe it or not, it was owned by an Elizabeth North man, it went out of control, who knows if he was messing about or driver error on such a powerful car, just tragic for everyone involved.

Yep... very sad.

Horrific scene by all reports. Thoughts with the girls family.
